What’s it like working here?

Stephen Hipkiss-Installation Engineer

I joined Axscend in April 2023 after many years working as a service/installation engineer for companies who supplied various engineering products to commercial vehicle manufacturers and end users. Although the field of commercial telematics is new to me, Axscend have provided excellent training & support.
At all levels of the company there is an eagerness to overcome any issues quickly, and a great sense of team spirit. My fellow field engineers always respond to any calls I may have for tech support.
I am on site every day with some of the biggest commercial vehicle fleets in the UK which I thoroughly enjoy.

Alex Williams-Web Systems Manager

My career at Axscend has gone from strength to strength. I started working in a small office in Knutsford as a graduate, taking on small projects for customers. Fast-forward 5 years and I am now leading a team of 5 in our Runcorn office. We are a tight knit team which I am proud to be a part of. Each day is different and can vary from integrating with external systems to use their data to drive new innovations, to driving and developing new systems to proactively address customer needs. It certainly keeps me on my toes!

Carys Anne Evans-Web Developer

After graduating in 2020, I joined Axscend as a junior web developer in March 2021. I found it easy to fit into the inclusive team-oriented office culture, and appreciate the additional benefits such as flexi-time and fast food Fri which helps boost morale and positivity across the office. I feel involved and excited to come to work every day where my contributions are valued. It’s great being part of a team which invests in & encourages my personal achievements.
